自分で銅板を切り出す / Copper Engraving

時間があるので、ほぼ一年ぶりに自分で銅板から切り出し、彫金たがねで叩いて、彫金板もどきのものを作りました。そして浮き出した模様が見えるよう、先生のアドバイスに従って釉薬をのせて行きましたが、やはり思い通りには出来上がらなくて、はい、お決まりの誤魔化しテクニック、マーブリングをしてしまいました。もっとも普段の自分の大胆なマーブリングではなく、小さく丁寧にマーブルしたので、少しは先生の作品の雰囲気に近づいたのでしょうか？　まだまだ道は遠いわ～せっかくの中赤（赤の釉薬はお高いです）なので、もっと中赤の美しさを追求しなくては。この騒動が終わったら、また先生に教えていただこうっと。

Since I have time, I brought out my sheet copper, and using the chisel, I made by myself a copper engraved plate. I put on the enamel according to my teacher's advice, but, as usual, the result was not satisfactory.  Thus, I've marbled the copper, my regular technique to cover up my failures. Well, this time, I've done the marbling in small bits, not my regular large marbling. Maybe my works has come near my teacher... well, I really have a long way to go. Oh, I've used red enamel (red enamel is expensive), I should have done better. When the virus situation is over, I would like to learn again from my teacher.
